Thornhill Inn is very proud of it's refurbished pub which now offers a cosy atmosphere a genuine sense of quality created through the use of the raw building materials. This part of the building originates from around 1700 and has always been the local pub. The old original sand stone walls have been exposed and cleaned and tell many stories. The entire pub has been fitted with a solid oak floor and all of the original features like shotters, coving, cornishes, fireplaces and doors have been cleaned up and reconditioned. We even have a couple of pictures of our toilets for you to see, then you know that we are a pub with a difference.
Today Thornhill Inn offers a pub that welcomes everybody who wants to have a good time and enjoy a good laugh, our dedicated bar team will ensure that you are well looked after. The locals will be
more than happy to share their knowledge and tales of this
fascinating area, steeped with history, and culture. With the
many local attractions on offer why not come and stay a while
in our former coaching inn in the heart of the village, dominated
by the beautiful Nith valley.
