The Thornhill Inn is situated in the beautiful conservation village of Thornhill, formerly the George Hotel set in the varied landscape of Mid-Nithsdale area of Dumfries and Galloway.

Thornhill is only 1 hours drive from Glasgow Airport and 1 hour and 20 min from Edinburgh Airport.

We have eleven comfortable en-suite bedrooms, Singles, Doubles, Twins with WIFI, Sky TV, Hospitality tray. The hotel boasts a cosy pub with the log fire burning during the winter months, making it popular with locals and visitors alike. Excellent lounge and restaurant area for you to relax and enjoy a good meal and a drink after a day out.
